The right place & time!

Who says this is a tough time to start a new business? Not me and I have some proof.

I visited a client on Friday I had a challenging deal to make for him. He has a business plan and sufficient financial staying power to implement his plan. He needed a large space for his plan to work. I found several spaces for him which were close to his needs but only one really fit like a glove. The challenge was one of cost vs value to his business.

I started the negotiations with a standard Letter of Intent to lease the space. I listened carefully to my client's needs and his budget challenges. The LOI reflected exactly what he could pay for the space which was considerably below the asking price. (duh) The negotiation began with the Landlord rejecting the offer. After months of tweaking the deal we got it accepted by both Landlord and Tenant.

The fun part happened Friday when I visited my client. He was up and running. His business is out-performing his plan. I met dozens of happy new employees sharing their individual success stories with me. They are doing GREAT! I'm thrilled for all of them. My client expressed his appreciation for my tenacity and persistence throughout the negotiations to acquire his space.

I feel appreciated! It is a great feeling knowing I helped people embark on their dreams. I plan to stay in touch with these wonderful people to watch their business flourish over the next 3 years. they will need a bigger space then and I'll work to find one which will be perfect to take their business to the next level.

I enjoy my small contribution toward helping my clients' success. I take great pride in helping them fulfill their dreams. It's nice to be appreciated too! I'm lucky to have great clients and my feelings of gratitude toward THEM!

I'm honored to be their 'Deal Maker'
